Subject: FI problem

Group, I have an '89 900. It has a 16V with the LH2.4 Fuel Injection and the EZK ignition. Until it is warmed up, I get a distinct lag during acceleration at part throttle. At full throttle, it seems to be fine when cold. After it is warmed up, it has good power with no lag. what I have checked: The codes from the LH system are 12111 and 12114. I have been over it many times and have found no vacuum leaks. I replaced the large diameter hose from the valve cover to the throttle body (crankcase vent) as it was hard. I have sprayed carb cleaner all over and individually tested each other vacuum line (even the brake booster and charcoal canister) and found no vacuum leaks. All electrical connectors are clean and seem to make good connection. I have checked the NTC sensor (temperature) and it seems to be in the right range when cold and hot. I have replaced the o2 sensor and verified that it gets voltage at the connector when disconnected and that the voltage does swing between 0.2 and 0.7 while idling. I verified heater voltage and continuity (for the o3 sensor). It has a new fuel pump. I verified that the fuel pressure is 3 bar in the header with the vacuum line disconnected to the pressure regulator and slightly lower when the vacuum line is connected. I have verified operation of the Air mass meter and get ~2V at idle and it increases with engine speed. AIC operates freely. I did clean it and used a drop or 2 of synthetic lube on the plunger (solenoid type). It idles about 900rpm and has a drop in speed when the fans kick on but it comes right back up to 900. A/C on maintains 900rpm as well after an initial drop in speed. Plugs are gapped, wires, cap and button are in good shape. I don't have much more hair and would like to know if there is anything left to check. I want to exorcise the codes from the system and get rid of this lag when cold. Question: Is the Crankcase Vent fitting supposed to be a valve or is it just a tee. Mine is a tee. There is no valve or orifice in mine. It is a clear flow for the large diameter hose as well as the small vacuum line. any takers? Keith Grider for off list responses, my email is keithathallidaytechdotcom
