Mine 9000T has 370 000 km, still no problems. Actually it's easy. Wait for turbo to cool down before shutdown. Use fully synthetic oil, change it (and oil-filter) every 7000 km, change plugs, air-filter, fuel-filter,brake-pads/discs and belts when needed and it will run forever. (As long as rust doesn't get it first.) It can go forever but cost of maintenance will be higher and higher until it isn't economicaly feasible to keep it running. If you neglect service you will reach this point sooner.
