My 96' 900SE 2.5 V6 had the same problem. It would stall as I came up slowly to a stop light, parallel park or sometimes around 60KM on a highway. My car also had another problem that happened a couple of times; sometimes after I drove the car for awhile and then turned it off for a couple of minutes and then tried to start it.. it would turn over but not start. I would have to wait around 10 mins then it would start fine. The SAAB mechanic replaced the ignition coil and the ignition switch. The car has run great for the past three weeks.
