Hi guys, I’m moving to California in a few months, and need to sell my beloved 900. Here are the details, plus a little history. 1987 SAAB 900 5-speed 204,000 miles cherry red body in good condition Location: Brooklyn, NY Asking: $1,000 Has: new starter new shocks & springs new water pump & thermostat Bosch platinum sparkplugs, rotor, distributor cap Needs: muffler front windshield (small crack on lower passenger side) driver’s side mirror (hit deer, cracked mirror, has temporary replacement) front brakes (replaced twice in one year) rear brakes? slight leak in rear main seal left side inner wheel well torn for support (not safety issue) left headlamp loose seats/floor okay, but ceiling upholstery coming loose I last drove this car in October 1999, when it failed inspection due to some of the above problems. It drove very well up until that point, if not a bit noisily. I had just moved back into the city, so I couldn’t afford to keep the car insured. With another $500-$700 work, this car will work again. This car was very well looked after in its lifetime. I’m only the third owner, so I have all papers, including the original bill of sale, and just about every receipt from every time it was ever looked at. Please feel free to contact me off list.
