That would depend on what factors you are evaluating. For headlights, the 1986 is known as the last of the inexpensive headlights - they could be replaced for $5.00 each. After 1986 they cost $300 each. However, after 1986 the parking/emergency brake was moved from the front wheel to the back wheels. This would allow all four wheels to be locked once the manual transmision was put into gear and the parking brake engaged with the engine off. It also allowed handbrake turns. There are many other factors to be considered in the overall evaluation. Obviously, if you drive behind trucks all the time the cheap headlights are important.
