Subject: Sticky Shifting?



Hello all,

I have a 1985 SAAB 900 Turbo, manual transmission.  I noticed when I bought
it that it had sticky shifting.  It squeaked when I shifted and seem like it
go "caught up" when I shifted.  So I took it apart and lubricated the stable
and moving plastic ball joints. It helped some, but it still seems sticky to
get into gears.  The hang-up feels like it is in the plastic that the
shifter is in.  Is there something loose?  Is there another place I should
lubricate?

Any clues would be helpful.
