I have a creaking problem with my 9-3 (not convertible) due to the seat belt fitting rubbing against the driver's (leather) seat. This started at less than 10,000 mi. Putting a piece of paper in between reduces substantially (but does not eliminate) the noise; and it's obviously not a long term solution. Passenger seat does not have this problem. BTW, this may be a function of seat adjustment. My seat is adjusted relatively high.
