We do these all the time. The problem lies at the joint where the hose meets the aluminum line. As the hose expands and contracts with use this seal breaks down. The cheapest way we have found, about $95.00 in our area, is we take the whole manifold to a local radiator shop/A/C service shop and have the new style hose, barb and crimp collar lines (also aluminum) welded on to the saab manifold. Once done we have not had a customer come back with lost R-12 again due to the manifold hoses leaking. Hope this helps. --------== Posted Anonymously via Newsfeeds.Com ==------- Featuring the worlds only Anonymous Usenet Server -----------== http://www.newsfeeds.com ==----------
