Subject: 16" super aero rims

Who could help me with following problem: My 1992 Saab 900i 16v is equipped with 16" super aero rims (originally belonging to a 9000 aero). Because the wheels were bigger than the original ones, they made a scraping sound at the backside of the car when cornoring; they touch the fender. This problem was solved by mounting stronger springs. My wish is to lower the front of the car by mounting so called 'turbo springs' at the front wheels. They are shorter than the normal ones. But before I'll buy them, I want to know if anybody has experience with this problem. Will they make a scraping sound too? Will there be enough space between the tires (205x16) and the front-fender? Please contact me when you've got something to say about this subject. email-adress : j.van.dorstnopsamet.nl
