Although I am a Saab owner, and have been since 1972 (as well as owning Volvos earlier), I have friends who have over 250K miles on thier Honda Accords without any problems. Certainly, I don't want to start a p*ssing match here, but it appears that at least some Japanese manufacturers are doing very well in designing engines with long-term durability statistics. Don
