Have a '93 aero w/similar problem. What is probably wrong is the battery in the cd player has leaked. That accounts for the cd not ejecting. The radio keeps asking for code since it thinks it has been disconnected from dc power. Solution is to send cd/equalizer ( if you have same set up as mine) back to clarion. They exchange the units for $125. You can get a plug for the back of the radio so you'll have the use of it while the cd p[layer is out for repair.
