The plastic piece I am talking about is about 1.5 in by 3 in. It surrounds/molds the ignition switch. I was doing my monthly cleaning and it was loose. I pulled it lightly (not yanked) and it came off (BTW, it was glued to the base). There is a little circuitry under neath that small cover, and looked very delicate. I put it back but it just seemed cheesy. I just might "crazy-glue" that thing. That's what happend for cleaning and washing your car; I should have left it dirty. You know what they say "Ignorance is bliss".
