Don't worry about it, it's made to be on all the time. Most cars run the AC all the time to dry out the interior. You are heeding advice from a parts pushing clown that just told a guy his AC was overfilled because it made noise when it wasn't even turned on. Johannes needs a compressor clutch, not a compressor. A clutch over here is under $100 at any decent parts store, I assume the same is available anywhere. Sometimes you get lucky and can source a bearing, but it isn't easy and it takes time most of us don't have.
