Subject: C900 Gasoline smell in cabin

Group, I have seen postings about gas smell in cabin. I noticed it a bit, but my wife really notices it. When driving on the interstate, it dissipates. When spirited driving on hilly, curvy 2 lane roads, (natural habitat of a C900) exhibits a gasoline smell in cabin. I cannot see anything which is leaking in the aft compartment (filler neck, hoses and rubber transitions) All is dry. It appears as though some residue on the right side floor behind the metal panel though none of the hoses are leaking. I have wrapped everything with paper towels to see if I can get any fluid to show, but it is doubtful that I will find anything. I am guessing it is vapor. Has any one found and repaired this problem? I am guessing that the rigid vapor line (above headliner) could possibly rub through, though that is doubtful. After I find out about this, I will write a FAQ to the saabnet as this is a FAQ to which I have not seen an answer. Please post back with any experiences you may have had. Thanks for any help. Keith Grider
