Hello from the other side of the pond, From what I have seen in US model stereos, of which Goodwins is not sold here, there is often a second fuse in the chasis of the stereo head unit or in line from the car power. it is usually 15 or 20 amps. Take the advice of the other gentleman and get your self a good Pioneer or Sony head unit that has lines in and out so you can get your self a CD/DVD/MD external player and not have to put up with the political pundits and governmantal policy wonks that seem to flood the air with what they seem to think is best for you.
