Subject: Wrecked, but not totaled, (parts) car

Hello all, I have a navy blue 1985 900 3 door that was in a accident recently- front bumper twisted into an unnatural state, frame slightly twisted, and hatch back folded up rather nicely. The hitter's insurance company has declared it a loss and I am getting a replacement from them, however, it still is drivable and has a multitude of useable parts! I also have some spare parts that I was going to put into the beastie before the accident. In the thirty or so months I have owned this vehical, I have put about $2500 to $3000 worth of work into it and it was worth all of it. Good Stuff: Only two owners. Engine (I replaced some electrical stuff on board, and it is in very good tune) Manual transmission (new clutch pedal) Interior (gray) Doors Hood Fenders, right good, left slightly dented Suspension parts, most new or <18 months old (shocks and rear support members) Exhaust system that <1 year old and with a new heat shield Steel wheels, rusty but usable w/ cleaning Rear bumper (I got hit by a truck, and it went right over my bumper.) Tow hitch Gas tank is fine Cooling system is fine Front tires. New breaks up front, rear breaks are in good shape <24 months old Power steering replaced 24 months ago. Air conditioning. Bad Stuff: Just under 190,000 miles, but before the accident I could have done 250,000 easily The front bumper can be replaced, but you will need to replace the supports for it and the radiator. They are bolted to the front of the frame and would need about 8-10 hours of work. You can get the replacements at any junkyard that has old Saabs. Both outside tail lights smashed. Soda spilt on dash and floor, needs some washing. Drivers seat collapsed after impact, it will need to be replaced. Rear quarters will need some work because of impact, but not major amounts. Hatch is folded, but the window is intact. No radio or speakers. I replaced the whole deal and tossed the old stuff out, it was crap. Rear tires are worn. Air conditioning needs gas, and to be checked for leaks. Spare Stuff: Hatch w/ power locks and key, whale fin, rear wiper capable (navy blue) excellent condition! * Power window motors Power lock actuators Power mirrors (both sides) 1 manual mirror (drivers side) Rear light fixtures for the hatch Center console w/ 4 rocker switches for power windows Various switches for AC/Defrost/Etc. Inquire. Custom, raised false floor for a stereo system in hatch area (dk. gray carpet) about 1/2 inch extra space for wiring. I made it and it is very nice looking. * Custom, heavy, reinforced rear deck for 6x9 inch speakers (dk. gray carpet). * I am in the Boston, MA, USA area and am not going to remove/ship any parts from the car, if you want it, come get it- it still can be driven and fixed but I am not going to be rebuilding it my self. If you want anything from my spare parts stash, I will ship them in the US/Canada, but you will pay for said shipping. I am honest, but I will require payment up front before shipping. Cash, cashiers checks, or money orders only, in US currency. Before you send payment I will supply you with personal information as a safety guarantee. The car is $350 or best offer. Add $100 if you want the hatch from the spare stash, and I am firm on the $100. I do have minimums on the larger parts (*), best offer on everything else. Ask about the costs on the other larger parts. E-mail me at jerem43nopsamo.com with any requests. Jeremy in MA
