Yeah - I agree with Andrew. Get a new plug FIRST... AND a new copper gasket too. THEN.... smack it a little with a hammer Try vice grips... if you still can't get it out..... you could get a screw extractor (Large, but not too large that it will eat into the threads!!! most important is NOT to mess up the pan!!!!!!). you drill a pilot hole & then use the screw extractor. It has reverse threading on it so you go in the direction of loosening the bolt & it digs in & digs in.... once it's embedded, you can use a wrench or an extractor grip to actually turn the extractor to loosen the bolt and extractor intact. If all that sounds too risky to ya, just take it to a lube joint or a mechanic... they'll do it for you. Be sure to hang around in case you hear "uh oh"... haha no.... most of the time, I think mechanics can remove a bolt without wrecking your car. most of the time Good luck. - Brian PS: don't tighten it too hard - you don't wanna muck up the pan & you'll get it out easier next time too.
