Subject: Re: 1999 9-5 Tire question

I had a similar problem with my 96 9000 CS 5 speed. I had a set of Dunlops put on and at about 50 MPH there was a significant vibration. I went back to the tire dealer and they rebalanced all four tires. I helped slightly but they still vibrated. I lived with it until I took it to the Saab dealer and they rebalanced all four and they have been fine ever since. Since then they have been rotated two or three times and they are still rock solid. I have driven the car on a couple of tracks and no problems. It sounds like the balance machine at my tire dealer can't do a high speed spin properly but the one at the car dealer can.
