Subject: heated seats in 9-3 convertible

The UK spec 9-3 convertible I own did not have the 'heated seats' option from factory. My local Saab dealer will install for £500-600 - but this sounds a little steep. Are the heating components already present in the seats, and the wiring pre-installed etc ? If so, is it just a case of buying/installing the relevant switch in the dash and finding the hidden cables ...or is there more to it than that ? If not, does anyone know the typical DIY cost - or if its even worth attemping myself ? Any info would be appreciated, as it would be a nice addition for winter. Thanks, Martin
