Subject: Driver's footwell obstructions in 2000 9-3

During a service, the dealer has messed about with the plastic moulding that forms the lower dash under the steering wheel, and runs forward to the bulkhead above the pedals. They have miss-fitted it, so it's now hanging down and interfering with my feet. They're closed now, so I'll take it back tomorrow. They've always given good service in the past so I can't imagine there will be any argument. My real worry concerns a small electrical connector with exposed wiring that is also attached to the same moulding, right in line with the toe of my shoes, and just waiting to be kicked and damaged. I'd never have noticed it except that I took a closer look to see what was wrong. Is that connector meant to be there, or have they messed up something else? My car is UK spec Right Hand Drive, so it's vaguely possible it'll be on the passenger side in LHD cars. Rapid replies (email or group) would be much appreciated as I'd like to be sure of my ground when I go back to the dealer first thing in the morning... -- bill mitchell
