If you need a new SID, check out RCSR which is basically a used auto parts network. The number for the Volvo-Saab division is 1-800-700-8658. I had checked with them for a SID 3 (which is an upgrade from the standard SID in my wife's 1998 900S) and I was quoted $80.00. I'm sure that's cheaper than getting the LCD screen repaired.
