Subject: Re: occasional check engine light

My 9000 did this. At 102500k the check message appeared. By 102550, the beast died on me. It remained a stop-start car, so dealer has it and reports leaking oil pump onto "crank sensor" and turbo valve (I think). Needless to say it's a big bill! I don't know if the "check engine" light always results in breakdown.... Let's hope not!
