The back of the 9-5 can, unfortunately, be confused with the > back of a Nissan Primera of all things. Well.. I must confess the 9-5 model rear design is really lacking in personality and it's not classy as the old Saabs were. Indeed, the 900/9-3 series have got quite a more harmonized rear lights than the 9-5 does, specially the Wagon version. What I find wonderful on Saabs is the front part: it's always sharp and very sporty but even classy if taken in very dark colors (such as black or dark blue, as Cosmic Blue). I can not understand why they are spoiling the great and original design of Saab cars with such bad rear design. I hope they'll take a good chance to change it with the 9-5 MY 2002 restyling process and with the new 9-3 series that I sincerely hope won't look like the MonteCarlo Yellow picture you have posted. See you!!, Eos
