My K reg Saab 9000 2.3 Turbo suffers from an intermittent cut-out problem which occurs 2-3 times within a one week period and then does not re-occur for another 6 months! The engine loses power completely but continues to idle, if you try and apply any throttle the engine stalls. After a few re-starts the fault disappears and the car behaves normally. SAAB have had a go at it but could not reproduce the fault, they have carried out their usual checks and diagnostics (including downloading and checking fault codes) with no luck.
