Keith, Thanks, this is good information. The road races my crew are going to participate in will be strictly amateur but will involve both dirt and paved roads - nothing offroad (yet). The rallies will be of the timed variety with an emphasis on strictly adhering to a circuit that is mapped in time/speed/direction instructions. The winner will be the one who can best keep to the instructions. All I really want to do is get a really good measure of velocity at any given time so that I can measure mean velocity over any given leg of the race. That way if the instructions say: "turn left, 5 minutes
