Do what I did on my Saab - use steel rims! I had the same problem with a pothole in my Volvo. I now have to badly bent alloy rims for a 245. I found I can buy new steel rims for $27 each -so even if I bend them they are cheap enough to throw away. They may not look as good as alloys, but I did not buy my car for looks, I bought it drive!
