Seeking a great commuter car to go along with my new 88 Porsche 911, I have the opportunity to buy: 1995 Saab 900S 2-door coupe, arctic white, grey cloth, auto, 2 owners, 78,000 miles, records, immaculate condition, everything works perfectly, new tires, no accidents or paintwork. I can buy this car for $8,000 tomorrow. Questions: 1) Reasonable price for a nice example? 2) Reliability issues with the 95? Anything to watch out for/worry about? 3) How long do Saabs of this vintage last, in general? Are they tanks that will run forever with proper maintenance? 4) Anything I should do immediately to the car at this mileage? Water pump? Timing belt (does it have belts or chains?)? Any and all thoughts appreciated. RP
