Check carfax and find out the history. Is some states the seller
is required by law to tell you who they bought the vehicle from. 
See if you can find out. Look over the car for any misfit body 
panels and repainting. Check inside panels for more info. Have 
an experienced dealer go through the mechanicals and find out
what the condition is and specifically ask them to look
for recent work and give their opinion on what was replaced
or worked on.
