OK, so I bought a '97 900S in December; its warranty expired shortly afterwards. No big deal. I just purchased and installed a Clarion CDC635 to add to the trunk. Found the cable (after 45 min. of tugging at the trunk liner and digging around behind it!), plugged it up, it worked like a charm. So I went ahead and mounted it and I'm quite proud of the job I did. Next morning I get in my car to go to work. I press the "CD" button. Nothing happens. I try it a few more times, then disconnect and reconnect the cable from the changer in the trunk. Nothing. I get to work, read the FAQs in various places, and find out this is a common problem. To fix it I must disconnect fuses 11 & 13 for about half an hour, then reconnect them and enter my stereo security code. I did so, and everything seems fine. Next morning I get in my car to go to work. Same story as before. The cycle will repeat. HELP! Is there a fix for this? Tim Buck * Systems Admin./IT Manager * Recognition Research, Inc.
