Subject: A Massive Upgrade

Hello All, Thanks to the Massachusetts Highway Department Pothole Division, I have to replace my engine on my 1985 900. I have located an engine/tranny combo in good condition for the beastie that is from a 1988 900 Turbo and is at an unbelievably good price. (This is the only reason I considering this endevor.) I am aware of the difficulty of this job, and going to try it out my self. So far I know that I will need the following: 1. Two days time. 2. The wiring harness from the '88 (because of changes to component connectors). 3. The engine. 4. The various governing computers/electronics. 5. The instrument cluster with the cables for the turbo gauge. 6. A legal way to dispose of all removed fluids. 7. A replacement intercooler (the original was badly damaged). 8. Shitloads of patience. Things I know I have to do: 1. Remove the dash and front seats to install the wiring harness and instrument cluster. What I need to know, does anyone have any suggestions or notes that can assist me in massive swearing fit that will be this replacement. (If you knew me, you would know that I swear way too much) Thanks, Jeremy from MA
