Check www.saabnet.com, there's "What to look for" pages on all Saabs. Longevity: They'll run darned near forever with care. The trick is caring for it the way that makes sense for you. EG: if you hate little problems, it is best to start some preventative moves on electrical connectors and plumbing. Hey, plastic insulators crumble, connectors rust, that's life. If, on the other hand, you're more concerned with avoiding LARGE problems and allowing details to slide while overall operation remains, then its pretty easy to care for. The big thing is: can you handle an old rusty car 8 years from now? Is THIS the old rusty car you want to drive 8 years from now? Saabs will last. They have problems, but who doesn't?
