I think that this sentence is surely true: my local Saab dealer has confirmed to me that the best quality level on the 9000 model was reached during the last two years of production: 1997 and 1998. He drives one himself and told me that Saab had fixed all the minor problems the car had.. so watch out if you have to buy one! :) See you!, Eos
