plus, why is there a "$7,000" increase in price? The BASE MSRP for an E320 is 48,500. Heck, the MSRP for a Viggen is about 39.5k, which is still 9k difference. And, if you want the "sport package", it adds another 4k to the price!!! I paid 36,800 for my Viggen with metallic paint. For you to buy an E320 with the same features as the Viggen, it's about 55.4k MSRP and 51.6k base price. I'll take the Viggen and save at least $15,000. Also, I think that my Saab has excellent fit and finish. Additionally, I test drove a CLK320, and I was under-impressed. The seats felt as if there was a board in them, the anti-lock brakes pulsed fiercely, and the interior of the car was too luxurious -- I felt as if I should be at least 60 to own the car. The cup holder was obscene (you push a button and then it pops up and rotates). The car made me feel old, while the Viggen is sporty w/o being pretentious.
