Subject: Re: Cost for Transmission - '88 9000

I had my the transmission in my Saab 9000T (192000 Miles) rebuilt here in the Atlanta area for $2200. However, I am now in the process of disputing the charges with American Express because the shop I took my car to did a terrible job. I have spoken with a couple of Saab mechanics who said that purchasing a remanufactured transmission are less trouble and less labor intensive than rebuilding one. BTW, if I can' resolve this dispute through Amex, look for me on the Peoples Court -- Karlon Jackson Saab 9000T Michael Weiner <michaelweinernopsamlina.rr.com> wrote in message news:Z2Uu6.165223$__6.29037374nopsamoon.southeast.rr.com... > I gave my '88 9000 Turbo to my brother about a year ago.
