Subject: CV replacement on a 9000 a diy job?

The CV's on my '91 9000 are starting to get pretty noisy when hard cornering. But with 250k miles, I'll be retiring it soon, and only need to get a couple thousand more miles out of it. Is this a job I can do at home (i.e. with a jack and set of wrenches)?
