Except the world's best webserver, the full suite of GNU stuff, EMACS/vi/vim/pico/et al, amazing uptime, Windows filesharing (via SAMBA) that outperforms NT, Perl, Python, StarOffice, GIMP, more than twenty different window managers, rock-solid databases like PostgreSQL, the full support of IBM, one of the world's most intelligent user communities, a truly international user base, and a licensing scheme that provides permanent ownership of most of the above, at no cost whatsoever. There is not a single *serious* computing tool that is not done, and done better, on the Linux/*BSD platforms. What else could you possibly want? Even the setup is now trivial.
