My 1986 SAAB turbo was bought in 1994 with 175 k miles on it. Now it has 214 k miles. Still same turbo, which I am almost sure is the original since I received all repair records from the original owner. Also turbo has the right amount of play in the spindle for that mileage. My wife's car, bought in 1993 had 140 k miles on it. The turbo had been replaced about 20 k miles before we bought it. No play in that turbo spindle. Charles.
