Subject: Saab seats



Has anyone attempted to take apart the front passenger or driver side
seat?  I have a Saab 900S '95.  The seat back has a hard time moving
forward when lifting the latch on the side.  A mechanic told me the
cable inside the seat may need to be replaced and quoted a very large
figure for the work.

How hard is it to take apart the seat back and is it an easy job to
replace/adjust the cable?  Would I be better off purchasing new seats?
