The previous owner (or non saab shop) may have replaced the rear pads and not set the set screw properly on the rear calipers. It may be calipers, cables, etc. If it is the first suggestion (probable if the pads are recent), it is free providing that you have a 14mm box wrench and a 4mm allen wrench... see the link... it outlines replacement of the rear pads.
