Subject: 84 900 Front Damper Tips?



I managed to replace the rear dampers on my 84 900i but the front ones have
got me baffled.

Could anyone PLEASE give me any tips on how to undo the top mounts (I'm
considering using mole-grips on the damper rods!)

and more importantly - how to stop the new units from spinning as I tighten
them.
