its too tall, and it wont fit unless you nake a new hood and gut the entire car, its not like when you could put a 900 block in a 9000 or VV. they HAD the SAME BLOCK, these dont. sorry ;-( get a NG 900 or 9000 and make a rally car with the 2.3! thats more doable, and you won't fri the tranny! I think its too tall > I have been thinking about the DI system, the sensor are > fitted to the cover mentioned above, aren't they? yes How much > work will it be to modify the 900cover so that the sensors > can be fitted?] well you would be better to do this. get a 90 9000 turbo engine, and take off those things, and make your 900 a 2.0L DI/apc car like in the 1990 9000 before the 2.3 L 9000 LArry West is doing it www.saabturbo.com he also has a factory SAAb DI-apc controller for the 2.0L for 195hp and like 210-215 FT lbs. of torque. it sounds like a cool idea, and VERY doable with junkyards these days. also, on your 2.0l block, you should use the 2.1L i intake mated to the 2.3L 91-93 head on the 900C block and tranny/chassis.... make sense?
