1994 was the first year of the new-shape 900, and there are various teething problems which most people agree weren't sorted out until the middle of the 95 model year. Not that you shouldn't buy this car, but make sure it has every service stamp in the book and get it thoroughly checked out by a saab dealer. At 124,000 miles the timing chain (chain, not belt) may well need renewed - they tend to let you know anywhere from below 100k to 180k plus.
