My 1992 9000 CS 2.3-16, 100k miles, has recently developed a whine at road (not engine) speed. The noise occurs under acceleration and engine braking, but disappears under neutral throttle. Being proportional to road speed I guess the cause is gearbox, drive shafts or wheel bearings, but I don't know which is most likely. Anyone had similar? Thanks in adavance Adrian
