I've just checked on the Saab EPC and the back box differs between models (the Carlsson has twin tail pipes - on my '91 model at least), the front pipe is engine type specific for cat-turbo models for the year, and the mid box seems to be constant across all models I've checked. So no the Carlsson should not have a bigger bore (in the middle section anyway).
