Hi, I'm new to this news group.... I bought a 97 900S last fall. It had about 38K on it back then. Now, at 45K (just after the warranty expired), my SRS warning light comes on (and stays on) after starting. The warning light (triangle with the explanation point in the middle) also comes on. The owners manual says bring it in to the dealer to make sure the airbags are OK. Any one have any experience with this type of warning. Is Saab just trying to get a few bucks out of me? Is there any way to shut it off without bringing it to a mechanic? Thanks!
