According to the Saab specialist (not Saab Dealer) that looked at it, there is an oil retaining valve in the good filters, not in the cheaper ones. This means that at start-up, there is a small amount of time when no oil flows. Weather this is true or not, who cares. I will be using genuine filters from now on. I woul dlike the car to reach 400K on enginr #2
