Bob: There's alwasy an oil seal in a distributor to keep the engine oil out since the shaft of the distributor is inside the engine block and being oiled by the engine oil. When this seal goes bad, oil leaks into the distributor. Unfortunately my Haynes (ie "lames") manual does not have any information on the seal. You might try a post as Saabnet.com on the NG900 BBS.
