Good point. To add some time factors into this: If I've been driving for a while, say 10 minutes plus, and stop to fill the tank, it re-starts ok, as long as I don't leave it too long. If, after it's hot (and by hot I mean normal operating temperature) I stop the engine and leave it twenty minutes or thereabouts, so that it's between ambient temperature and normal operating temperature, it won't start. Even cranking it for 30 seconds doesn't start it. If I then leave it another hour or so, it starts almost instantly.
