You need to define what you mean by 'hot'. If you included time in your description as well your problem might be like mine. I had a check valve fail, which allowed the gas to drain out of the fuel line and back into the tank. On a 'cold' or initial start, it would start after a few seconds of cranking. The extra time was spent pressuring the fuel line. If I shut the car off and restarted 'hot', within a minute, it would start right up because the fuel had not drained yet. If I waited for it to be 'warm', say 10 minutes, the fuel remaining in the lines in the engine compartment vaporized, creating a vapor lock I would have to wait 30 to 40 minutes for the engine compartment to cool before I could start it. This should not be happening to a car that is only 4 year old, but it is worth checking. Anybody got any ideas?
