After deciding that I need cruise control for my 88 900 8 valve 5-speed, it turns out I waited too long before deciding to do so. Saab no longer sells the cruise control kit to upgrade cars without. Discontinued 1995 or some time around there. Thus, I am looking if someone has access to the parts list which will give me the Saab part numbers for all of the componants for this particular year. I already went and pulled two complete cruise control systems from similars wrecks but found out that componants can differ from model to model. Actually, just two are different. I do know that the speed control sensor on the back of the speedometer was upgraded (changed?) in 1989 as well as the control on the turn signal stalk. If anyone has access to a cd rom parts list or similar and could quick give me a definative list of what should be in that list, I would be very appreciative. Also, is it true that my car is already pre-wired for cruise control? I felt up under the dash and found what appears to be the connectors to the individual modules. Nonetheless, I have two wiring harnesses should I need them. Mark markonopsamedu
